ECAC 24 Hour Run!

From 6pm on Friday (22nd July) to 6pm on Saturday (23rd July), East Coast AC members completed a sponsored 24 hour run to raise funds for their charity of the year; PIPS Larne. The atmosphere was electric even through the night, and members, family and friends all came out to support the athletes in their 1, 2, or even 5 hour challenges.

Hogg & Patterson Siblings Top the Podiums at Glenarm!

On Friday (22nd July), both the senior and junior members were in action at the 5k and 10k events which were part of the Dalriada Festival in Glenarm.   Young Charlie Patterson and Bradie Hogg produced arguably the performances of the evening when they claimed 12th place overall (Charlie) and 2nd placed lady (Bradie) respectively.

Hewitt wins Forest Series while McKeown wins Silver Medal!

On Tuesday 28th June 2106, nearly two hundred runners descended on Woodburn Forest close to Carrickfergus for the final race of this year’s East Antrim Harriers Forest Trail Series.  In pleasant conditions, the athletes negotiated a tough but rewarding 4.2 mile route.

East Coast AC seniors train Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7pm at:


Tuesday: Sandy Bay, Larne

Thursday: Sandy Bay, Larne


All abilities are welcome.

East Coast Cheetahs (Mini's and Minors) train every Thursday from 6pm at Larne Grammar School (summer) and Larne Market Yard (winter), however locations may vary.

ECAC Juniors (11-16yrs) train every Tuesday from 6pm at Larne Grammar School (summer) and Larne Town Park (winter).
