01/01/19 Race Over The Glens

Justin Maxwell and Adam McClure started the New Year in style by racing over the Glens on New Years’ Day in Glenariff Forest Park.  The 6 mile mixed terrain race included road, gravel and grassy paths.

05/01/19 Festival of Cross County

Heather Malone excelled at North Down AC’s Cross County event at Castle Park in Bangor.  Heather worked her way to the front of the field over 4k and took podium place of 2nd lady in the Senior ladies race.

On Saturday 12th January East Coast AC is taking over Larne Parkrun.  Members will be there to encourage you to run, jog or walk the 2 lap route at Carnfunnock Country Park from 9:30am at Dixon Hall.  Parkrun is a free, timed 5k event organised weekly at locations throughout the world.  Further details about Parkrun may be found at http://www.parkrun.org.uk/larne/
